Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Fund and supply agency (EPSA) would like to hire qualified candidates in the following position.
EPSA is currently engaged in a program to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across finance, supply chain, and human resource management.
We are currently looking to hire ERP Business Analyst. The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for solving information technology-related problems and working with implementer to solve business problems using business knowledge, consulting skills, and packaged solution expertise. The analyst works directly with the project team to select, implement, and integrate ERP solution into the business environment. The analyst works closely with business units to ensure master data submitted properly to support interfaces and assures compliance of security requirements for the ERP suite. Other duties may include documentation and operational support, and additional duties as needed in support of the senior MIS staff and business users.
Job Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements and data for ERP implementation project
Define business, financial, and operations requirements and system goals working with decision makers and end users
Consult implementing firm and project team during customization, configuration, and changes requests
Collaborate with various business units in the Agency to facilitate implementation of new or improved reporting processes and functions
Interact with implementing firm to coordinate implementation of newly created functions and reports
Lead and analyze design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flows
Work with Agency's leadership to ensure information is targeted and enables decision making
Research and design ERP operational reports for all business units.
Assist users in resolving problems and answer questions with minimal supervision
Interpret users' problems and needs over phone and respond with solutions
Perform database inquires and audit to verify system integrity
Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications
Identify and manage the different types of roles, including aggregate privileges and data, abstract, job, and duty roles
User and security role creation and maintenance in ERP suite
Analyze users' needs to provide best practice role-based access control (RBAC) and security functions
Design and maintain related role-based access controls as it relates to the ERP solutions
Work within and across ERP implementation and IT teams to execute projects and roadmap items
Provide guidance during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases
Interact with MIS and other business units working on daily operations or ERP problems
Qualifications
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an other related field is required
5 Years' experience in ERP and/or software development Business or Systems Analyst
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience in project management and in bringing innovative ideas to reality
Experience consulting and communicating with senior management teams
Knowledge regarding business process design
Strong understanding of enterprise application security concepts, separation of duties (SOD) and role-based access controls (RBAC)
Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities, reprioritize tasks, establish priorities, work independently and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a complex and changing environment
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
Problem solving and team building skills
Requirement period:
1 year contract with possible extension.
